Mango Factory @ The Prom, Bristol 25th May |

Mango Factory are a formidable 8-piece live act playing a unique blend of Funk, Latin, and Soul/Jazz covers: some well-known and some not so well-known, but all in a unique Mango Style. This promises to be a great night out, if there are advance tickets, probably get one or at least get there early enough.
Their music showcases: joyful Latin party rhythms by the likes of The Cat Empire and Santana; the funk and groove of the Brand New Heavies, The James Taylor Quartet, and The Meters; visitations with recognisable classics from the likes of Sly and the Family Stone, Stevie Wonder and The Isley Brothers; a smattering of Dr. John swamp voodoo music plus unexpected encounters with Radiohead, Mark Ronson and Franz Ferdinand. Sound intriguing, well come and check it out then. You won’t be disappointed with their locked tight rhythms, dynamic arrangements and multi-instrumental fireworks: plus vocal illuminations from two of Bristol’s finest vocalists in Ben Sayer and Aimee Mukherjee!!!
