This year's Amnesty International (Bristol Group) fundraiser gig looks
like a good one, with an eclectic mix of music performed by some of
Bristol's most interesting artists. Confirmed acts include headliners
Return to Field, JetKing, Mood
Indigo, Leeza Jessie, Colin Parsons,
Grace Ekall and Friends, Rupert Hopkins and Fromage en Feu, a gypsy
street party band.
From 2pm - 10pm on Sunday 25th November at the
Golden Lion on Gloucester Road, Bishopston, Bristol, tickets a mere £3
on the door with proceeds going to the Bristol Amnesty International
Group. Over 600 people attended last year's event, so this is a great fundraiser and a perfect musical Sunday out. See you there!
Confirmed acts include headliners "Return to Field" who have won an
award in Channel 4 TV's Raw Cuts film-making competition and were
Bristol Evening Post's "Readers' Band" in 2006 among other accolades,
indie/electronica band "JetKing" who have been riding high in the
MySpace charts recently and are one of the most hotly-tipped Bristol
bands at the moment, "Mood Indigo" (jazz swing), "Leeza Jessie"
(original acoustic) and "Fromage en Feu" (a gypsy street party band).
