Dot to Dot Festival Bristol 2009Hey hey - It's Festival time! Where and when I hear you cry? Its right on your door step in the lovely Bristol in (hopefully) sunny May. So it started in Nottingham in 2005 and the nice people of Dot to Dot realised how awesome Bristol was and decided to bring it down to the West Country. Dot to Dot Festival takes place in Bristol over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of May in a variety of venues around Bristol from the intimate Louisiana, Cooler and The Fleece to larger venues like Thekla and Academy. This year we’ve got goodies like Friendly Fires, Ladyhawke, Annie Mac, Patrick Wolf, Cage The Elephant, Little Boots and many many more...

The acoustic Blue Mangoes, Dave Wright (guitar, vocs and songs), Pat Slade (guitar vocs), Steve Pavey (bass vocs) and Steve Taylor (vocs, sax and harmonica) will be playing at the Prom Music Bar on Thursday 12th of March. 9-11pm, free entry. View of the Pump House 'Integrity'- Jazz at the Pump House. Stellar talents Iain Ballamy (Sax) and Jason Robello (Piano) are the stars for the launch of the Pump House’s new, improved Jazz season. Launching on Wednesday June 4th the music starts at 8pm and entry is free. “This night combines two of life’s greatest pleasures – food and music" says Luke Harney from Open Source Studios, who are now promoting the event.
