Their material is inspired by relationships, people, places, families, and real life experiences and they share an eclectic list of influences that form their unique sound - loosely described as soulful blues meets melancholic jazz.

Since forming in March 2008 they have played gigs at The Colston Hall and Bristol Harbourside Festival, live radio sessions (BCFM, Star radio) and featured in Bristol’s Venue magazine and Evening Post. www.myspace.com/messysubjects
