Mike Shawe is a Bristol based DJ and is the promotor of the Hot Buttered Soul events. Musically it focuses on Soul Boogie Funk Rare Groove & Disco. With an eye for the dance floor they hand-pick the best sounds from across the spectrum of black music both old and new. Spinning only original vintage vinyl for that 'authentic' sound and feel. Along with a monthly, third Friday residency at the hip, but unpretentious Bank of Stokes Croft in Bristol, Hot Buttered Soul have been busy spoiling the crowds with their brand of funky goodness the world over. Venues include The Big Chill Bar, Start The Bus, Tobacco Factory, The Park, The Canteen, Amoeba Lounge Bar and The Spotted Cow in Bristol. As well as Gwdihŵ in Cardiff and Oslo's (Norway) Nomaden and Blå clubs.

Rock Resurrection - Mobile Rock Disco, Specialising in Classic Rock and Heavy Metal run by two Brisol Bikers with 10,000 tracks to guarantee an evening of Classic Rock music from AC/DC to ZZ TOP, supported by a variety of lighting displays and other effects. 

DJ Derek is probably Bristol's longest standing DJ whose blend of 60s Rocksteady, Reggae, ska, dancehall and soul music has made him an icon for many in the industry, including a host of Jamaican producers and Massive Attack. A former accountant and washboard player, DJ Derek is one of the Bristol music scene's most valued characters. 

Sad Music DJ's Grumpy Man are a Miserablist DJ Collective from Bristol, England. We specialise in bringing sad music to the masses in an effort to stem the tide of dumb happy music that is sweeping the world. Ours is a mission for the morose, a troubled cure for troubled minds.
