Motion Theory's only Bristol gig as part their of UK 2009 tour to launch their award-winning debut album "featherhead". They were called "the ingredients of a good night out" by the Newcastle Echo in June 2009. The album was awarded Unsigned Record of the Week (14 September) by Manchester Music, who commented "this band have all the makings of something special indeed".

Motion Theory are appearing as part of a Freshers week night as their only Bristol gig in the 2009 tour. This alt-rock foursome had some success in 2008 with their debut EP 'Sunlight on the Sand' and have brought the music and live performances to a new level with their debut album 'featherhead'. The title track was a semi-finalist in the UK Songwriting Awards and the entire album was Manchester Music's Unsigned Record of the Week (14 September 2009)

The band is Dom Main - vocals/keyboards Jamie Wesley - guitar James Kerr - Bass Will Soutter - Drums Feedback on album/tour so far: "the ingredients of a good night out: robust rock rhythms, soaring vocals and impressive guitar solos" (Newcastle Echo)
