Who remembers Meet Your Feet- Bristol’s fabulous all women’s band from the 80’s, with soul, jazz, latin, funk and pop influences, resulting in infectious tunes and rhythms? Unsurprisingly, many people do. This wasn’t just any band, this was one of
Bristol’s top bands as voted by the Venue magazine readers.
The band has a lot of experience, having done several European tours and gigged at all the prestigious festivals including Glastonbury and WOMAD.
And so, 20 years later, here they are, ready to take to the stage and delight the Bristol audiences once again.
The eight-piece band, which includes four of the founder members, will be punching out the original tunes and sounds of Meet Your Feet at the Trinity Centre for their first gig back after 20 years.
The songs are dynamic with tight harmonies, catchy sax riffs, infectious percussion and spot-on lyrics, making it almost impossible to stop your feet from dancing.

CINDY STRATTON & MARIUS FRANK
Cindy has been both writing and singing her own original songs for a number of years. A dedicated performer with a huge vocal range and a ‘voice that both cuts and melts’ (Venue), Cindy has a far ranging appeal.
With her long-term collaborator, Marius, bass player extraordinaire, you can expect a set of spellbinding and beautiful singing and musicianship.
Cindy will be performing some songs from her forthcoming CD ‘Portraits of Life and Love’, to be launched this coming July.
MAGGIE ALLEN
Singer/songwriter, formally with the Maggie Allen Band. Maggie will be performing songs from her album ‘Blue Dreams’.
