Jessie May Night At The Cooler featuring The Hit Ups, Furthest Drive Home and Page 44 plus Band & DJs To Be Confirmed. Thursday 16th August 2007, 7.30pm – 11.30pm, In Aid Of The Jessie May Trust.

The Hit Ups, Funk / Ska / Hip Hop. Formed Christmas 2004, they've built up a set of funk groove hip-hop. They’ve been gigging for about a year now, playing venues including The Bristol Carling Academy and The London Meanfiddler along with coming 3rd in the UK in a BOTB. They’ve taken time out from writing some new material to headline the night and are currently sorting out a tour.

Furthest Drive Home, Rock / Pop Punk / Pop. Coming hot off the heels of the brilliant debut mini album ‘The Complete First Series’ in June, Furthest Drive Home are pleased to announce their first UK headline tour to promote the record, taking the amazing Riverclub with them. More dates and another September tour are now also being arranged, along with a string of support dates throughout the rest of the year. Following the download only single ‘Directors Cut’, FDH will be also be releasing second single ‘Forget his Façade’ on August 13th through Hungry Kid Records, straight after the final date of their UK tour. Look out for the promo for the track, hitting music channels in July 07!!!

Page 44, Rock / Indie / Alternative. If you have not been hit by the Atomic Bomb that is Page 44's live show, or become infected by the highly-contagious melody that saturates every song, now is your time. With their debut single release in September , soon to be on pre-sale , this would be a amazing chance to catch them in Bristol. Being in the top-ten of MySpaces Genoma Unsigned Chart every week since its inception is proof enough of the bands unrivalled song-writing talent. Not content with just topping charts based on unique plays, Page 44s internet presence is unbelievably wide. With a number upwards of 5000 MySpace fans, most of whom find the band, not vice-versa, the buzz surrounding Page 44 is phenomenal. It is only a matter of time before the bandwagon is rolling way too fast to jump on.
