Badly Drawn Boy Gig in Bristol Chipshop

Mercury Music Prize winner Badly Drawn Boy is to play a gig at the Magnet fish and chip shop in Bristol. Strange but true, he asked fans to vote for their favorite chippie on his website, promising to play a gig at the winner which was, of course, the excellent Magnet in Dean Lane, Bedminster. So if you want to catch Damon Gough and company and can't get tickets for the St George's Bristol gig, you know where to go.

When this will be happening we don't know as yet, but Damon Gough and company, aka Badly Drawn Boy are to play a 6 date tour in February 2007  to promote the latest album 'Born In The UK'. The Bristol date is on the 17th at St George's, tickets are £15 plus booking fee and are on sale now. What the score will be with the chipshop, who knows? We are guessing the 17th or 18th. The 18th is a pretty good bet as it is a blank date on the tour, before a gig in Leeds on the 19th.
