Wild tunes unfold in ear-popping style as the wedding party master leads his band into more and more uncontrollably rhythmic territory.

Hey hey - It's Festival time! Where and when I hear you cry? Its right on your door step in the lovely Bristol in (hopefully) sunny May. So it started in Nottingham in 2005 and the nice people of Dot to Dot realised how awesome Bristol was and decided to bring it down to the West Country. Dot to Dot Festival takes place in Bristol over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of May in a variety of venues around Bristol from the intimate Louisiana, Cooler and The Fleece to larger venues like Thekla and Academy. Promoters HMP are delighted to announce the details of Castle Park Rock 2009 (subject to license).

Drawing on influences as diverse as Pink Floyd, Hawkwind, New Model Army and The Groundhogs, Alien Stash Tin have been playing together since 2002. Bristol rock masters Fortune Drive have agreed to headline the city’s Twestival event on Thursday 12 February at The Lanes, the new stylish bowling venue near Broadmead. It’s a charity event to raise money for Charity: Water, providing clean drinking water for people in the third world. Twestival is an international night of merriment taking place in over 110 cities around the world, and Bristwestival is Bristol’s offering. Also playing are the sensational Bristol nine-piece funk-monsters Mango Factory.
