Alien Stash Tin and Rita Lynch should make a rocking good night out at Mr Wolfs on Thursday 12th February. Drawing on influences as diverse as Pink Floyd, Hawkwind, New Model Army and The Groundhogs, Alien Stash Tin have been playing together since 2002. Rita Lynch needs no intrtoduction, her songs are an explosion of sexual, religious and social imagery driven by an energy that comes across just as strongly in an acoustic set as when Rita performs with a band.

The CoriTap ciderhouse in Clifton has always had a fantastic reputation for its cider – but it’s now become incredibly popular and well-known as a great live music venue. So much so that they were encouraged by customers and musicians alike to enter The Publican "Music Pub of the Year" Awards back in October and they have just got through to the finals!!! A massive achievement! The CoriTap enjoys huge support from the most amazingly talented musicians not just from Bristol but Europe and Canada too … Phil King, Beth Rowley, James Morton, Andy Sheppard, John Fenlon, Gary Alesbrook, Cliff Moore – the list goes on and on. The finals will be held at The Grosvenor Hotel, London, on 24 March – We wish them the best of luck!!! www.thecoronationtap.com

Stephan Grossman
Guitarist, educator and historian Steffan Grossman was a student of acoustic blues and gospel singer/guitarist Rev. Gary Davis. In the early 1960s, Grossman formed the Even Dozen Jug Band and worked with the political rock band the Fugs before moving to Great Britain. In 1968, he co-founded Kicking Mule Records with Ed Denson, a label that showcase idiosyncratic acoustic blues and folk guitar styles. Grossman's solo discography goes all the way back to 1966, when he recorded How to Play Blues Guitar for Elektra Records.
